Welcome!
My name is Elliott Hokanson, I am a highly motivated, energetic & adaptive graphic designer, with education and experience in both web and print.
I am trained & skilled in many programs & formats, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and InDesign. Other programs include Microsoft Office and Quark. I am also familiar & apedt in HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP, & JavaScript.
I earned my Associate of Arts Degree in Visual Communication from Collins College in Tempe, AZ in 2003. Courses of study included: Creative Visualization, Design Principals, Marketing, Type Design & Typography, Public Speaking, Video Technique, Digital Video Production & Editing, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and HTML.
In 2013, I had completed my Web Design Certification from Illinois Central College, and earned a place on the Principal's List with a 4.0 Grade Average. Classes attended include: XHTML and Advanced Internet, Building Web Pages with XHTML & CSS, Web Technology and Business, Web Accessibility and Usability, Scripting for Designers, and Web Site Development with CSS.
I attended McKenzie High School in Blue River, OR, graduating in 2000. Courses and extra-curricular activities I had been involved include: Future Business Leaders of America, Golf Oregon, Annual, and Entrepreneurship. I served as the Advertising/Promotions Manager for Golf Oregon, a Student-Run business which allows students to earn scholarship money.
I've printed on a variety of digital presses, copiers & have had to coordinate with third-party printers on occassion. Most recently, I had simultaneously operated on 3 seperate Canon imagePRESS C6010s.
